Nevada Child Care Resource & Referral is a collaborative effort between the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services Child Care & Development Program, The Children’s Cabinet, and Las Vegas Urban League Early Childhood Connection.
What is Nevada Child Care Resource & Referral?
The Children’s Cabinet & Las Vegas Urban League partner to help parents take the guesswork out of choosing child care by providing referrals to licensed child care as well as information on quality. We support families to raise healthy children by providing information and training. We support providers to build the supply of child care and help our communities understand the critical importance of child care in supporting children’s development to ensure they are successful in school and in life.
CCR&R Funding
Child Care Resource and Referral Services (CCR&R) are primarily funded by the Child Care and Development Fund administered by the Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) Child Care & Development Program. The Children’s Cabinet and Las Vegas Urban League are proud to partner with DWSS’s Child Care & Development Program to provide CCR&R services to Nevada’s families and early learning providers.
